"First Steps Preschool has more than met my expectations. I'm amazed at the things my son is learning at school everyday. He's surprised me with reciting the Pledge of Allegiance at 3 years old!  I asked him where he learned it. He said enthusiastically, "Preschool Mom!." The staff at First Steps are all loving Christian ladies with a heart for children and are more than qualified in education and experience. Also, the teacher/parent support at this school is unlike any other in Lodi. I consider First Steps Preschool the best preschool in Lodi and we are looking forward to our second year there." - Christy R.

First Steps Preschool was first conceived in 2004 by a board of directors made up of members of First Baptist Church of Lodi. The preschool was formed in a response to the growing need in the community to provide quality preschool education. The mission of First Steps Preschool is to glorify God through the training and nurturing of children in their spiritual, intellectual, social, emotional and physical development by providing a child centered program that conveys salvation through Jesus Christ and fosters a love for God, His word, a love for each other and a love for the world.
